GREETINGS GARDEN FRIENDS, ++ Spring Greens ++ Shareholder Applications Due ++ Cosmic Meditation
Spring Greens Selling Fast Forty
Spring Greens shares are being offered in 2007 and they are selling well. The cost is $30 for three alternate week pick-ups. Each distribution will provide approximately two pounds of mixed Spring Greens. The first
pick-up is targeted for the last week of March. A Regular Season membership (either FULL or ALTERNATE) is required to apply for a Spring Greens share. Be sure to get your application in soon before they sell out! Download a Spring Greens application
First Payment Due for 2007 Shares I
know we're all glad that for 2007, the Share price has NOT increased! A Full share, with weekly pick-up, is still $500. Alternate shares are only $300. Don't forget that the first payment is due 12/1/06 - - this
Friday!
Why do we ask for this payment so early? One of the premises of community supported agriculture is that the consumers share in the risks of the growing season. That means we all contribute before the
season begins so seeds, equipment and potting mix can be purchased. Download an application.
Contemplating a Cosmic Advent What do you long for? What do we need to birth at this time? How does the new cosmology heal old divisions and immerse us in the €Real€?
Bring your cosmic Advent ponderings to La Vista amidst the return of bald eagles, the Geminid meteor shower, and the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Gather on the 11th to explore these questions together
with the option of continuing your own contemplation on the 12th and 13th. As always delicious meals will reflect a seasonal tone as we strive to honor this place and the food that is grown here.
Guided day of reflection: December 11th, 2006, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
The facilities will also be available the days and nights of December 11, 12, and 13 if you wish to create your own personal reflection time.
12/11 day of reflection only, including lunch: $25.00 12/11 day of reflection plus one overnight including dinner and breakfast: $65.00 Additional personal overnight and day of reflection with 3

HAPPY FALL , 2006 Season winds down...
THIS SUNDAY: Annual Harvest Party The Annual Harvest Party will be held in the greenhouse this Sunday, November 12, 2006, from 4:00 7:00 pm. It's the Grand Finale
Potluck event to close out the season and is a time for good food, good friendship, and good fun. All Shareholders are invited to bring family and friends to this Celebration.
The weather report for Sunday is a high of 50 and cloudy with low chance of rain. If it turns cold, the greenhouse has a heater, and of course, there will be an outside fire and hot cider.
Since we've
graduated to a digital camera, there won't be a slide show this year (unless someone donates a projector), but there are a lot of 2006 season pictures that will be playing on a laptop, so you can still
reminisce. Come see if there's a picture of YOU!
Bring a yummy dish to share, plate/mug/utensils, chair, and your appetite! See you on Sunday!
2007 Shares Go On Sale 2007 Shares, including Spring Greens Shares, go on sale this Sunday at the Annual Harvest Party.

increase! Regular Season FULL Shares (27 weeks of organic, fresh and locally grown produce) will again be sold for $500. Regular Season ALTERNATE Shares (pick-up every other week) will be available for $300.
For 2007, the highly successful Spring Greens program will be expanded to 40 Shares. Spring Greens distribution starts and ends before the Regular Season and provides shareholders with approximately 2 pounds of
fresh greens on each of 3 alternate weeks. Application for a Spring Greens share is limited to members who have made their initial payment on a Regular 2007 Share and will be available on a first come basis. A
Spring Greens Share is $30. Get yours before they're all gone!
